HOW IT ALL STARTED
In 2012 Lars’ friend Roberto invited him to a place close to Venice where Italian companies were being incubated. Depop was called Garage back in the days and the founder Simon Beckermann was sitting in a small black cube trying to revolutionize the way people shop fashion items. After many discussions about the changing fashion landscape and its consumer behavior (and some proper Italian food) they decided to work together.
