Director Finance

Munich

Christian is Director Finance at HV. He grew up in Bavaria, studied Business Administration in Augsburg, and moved to Munich straight after graduating. His first role was as an investment controller at Stadtsparkasse Munich, where he ran reporting alongside revenue and risk controlling.

Christian has been part of the HV team since 2008. Across more than fifteen years at the firm he has specialised in modelling cap tables and calculating exits, working with a wide range of portfolio companies through their full lifecycle. As Financial Officer he is responsible for reporting, controlling, and implementing planned scenarios within cap tables – the quiet plumbing that lets the rest of the team move at the speed of venture. Off the clock, Christian is in the mountains year-round: skiing, ski touring, hiking, and on his mountain bike for week-long trans-alp trips.
