ABOUT KILIAN
Kilian grew up in the Swabian Alb and moved to Munich as a teenager. During his time in school, he spent six months in Kenya with a developmental aid organization.
Kilian holds a BSc in Geography from LMU Munich and a master's degree in Environmental Planning and Geoinformatics from TU Munich. While studying, he worked part-time as an IT specialist and later took on leading positions in the IT division at his alma mater LMU Munich.
Prior to joining HV, Kilian was Head of IT at Zentrum Digitalisierung.Bayern, a state owned think tank. Here, he learned about the challenges of nurturing a cloud-first and high-velocity IT mindset within a public sector organization that works in a fast-paced environment. In addition, he worked as a freelance M&A advisor and supported companies in merging their IT organizations.
During his free time, Kilian enjoys cooking, classical music, sailing, and dabbling in electronics.
