Sebastian is Compliance, Operations & Risk Manager at HV. Raised in the Bavarian district of Cham by parents who taught business administration and law, he developed an interest in economics and finance from an early age. He completed a bank clerk apprenticeship before studying Business Administration at OTH Regensburg, with a focus on controlling, accounting, and finance.

He began his career at KPMG's Audit Financial Services division, auditing alternative investment fund managers, banks, and leasing companies. He then specialised in alternative investments at RWB PrivateCapital, a private equity investment manager specialising in fund-of-funds strategies, taking on responsibility across operations, regulatory compliance, controlling, and finance, before joining real estate fund manager mondial as Head of Fund Accounting, where he was appointed Authorized Representative ("Prokurist"). He brings that regulatory and operational depth to HV, where he is responsible for all topics concerning compliance, risk, and operations.
